commission disclosure policy

We receive our income from the introduction of clients to our carefully selected panel of lenders and/or authorised vehicle dealerships - From the supply of vehicles and/or the supply of ancillary goods and services.

 

Clients who are consumers, sole traders or small partnerships and who use our services resulting in the entering into an agreement through our panel of funders which is regulated by the Consumer Credit Act.

 

These regulated clients have a legal right to ask us to disclose the amount of commission that we receive.

 

What Are We Required To Disclose?

 

As an FCA regulated firm Evacrest Capital Limited wish to ensure that clients are aware of the existence and amount of any commission, before the Credit Agreement is entered into, if any of the following apply:

 

 

  • From the client’s perspective, the commission could have unduly influenced the broker into recommending or offering a particular product

  • Knowing about the existence or amount of the commission would materially impact the client’s decision in entering the agreement

  • The client has formally requested details of the commission.

We are required by the FCA to disclose the existence of commission and upon request the amount of commission we receive for the introduction of a Credit Agreement.

 

When Can A Client Request This?

 

A client may ask for commission disclosure at any time from our initial discussions through to the point when their agreement is set live. After this point we have no obligation to disclose what we have earned from transacting the deal. In line with our company policy a request for a commission disclosure shall be provided within 5 business days commencing the day after we receive and confirm a client’s commission disclosure request.
